Self Leveller & Concrete

Self-Leveler – Type of floor preparation before the installation of resilient flooring, stone, concrete, or wood for a sound substrate floor. Concrete – Concrete over time has become more than just a pad for garages, basement or patios. Becoming more popular in commercial spaces such as restaurant dining, retail stores and studios.

Advantages of Self Leveller / Concrete:

Repairs uneven interior floors.
Smoothens area from damaged or installation over the top of existing floors.

Disadvantages of Self Leveller / Concrete:

Product may fail if incorrectly mixed or space conditions are not met.
May be costly if excessive amounts of product are required.

Laminate is commonly installed in:

Advantages of Laminate:

Not suitable for all places such as kitchen and bathrooms where plumbing or water damage could occur.
Noise transfer and with age creaking and clicking sound may occur.

Advantages of Broadloom/Rolled Carpet:

Warmth, carpet is generally warmer in colder seasons it will retain warmth longer than other types of floors.

Advantages of Luxury Vinyl Plank:

Great for high-traffic areas. Mostly used in commercial spaces but has become popular in residential with its durability and longevity.
